Power of the verse
Depends who you talk to. Some will say the Digimon verse is on par with the likes of Umineko, Dr. Who and WWE though most people will argue that the Digimon verse is a sub-human, featless verse since they're "data" and can easily be defeated by anti-virus programs and/or just shutting down a PC.
On the other hand, Digimon are the champions, when a Digimon fights and a Digimon wins, the Digimon will find the strength within. What a Rookie can't do, a champion can.
